Betty Wins Yaris Cross Urban Hybrid!

A big congratulations to valued CMI Toyota guest Betty, who recently won a Yaris Cross Urban Hybrid by simply booking in her car for a service! 

In case you missed it, thanks to Toyota Australia, Toyota owners across South Australia were invited to enter an exciting competition which gave one lucky person the chance to win a brand new Yaris Cross Urban Hybrid. To enter, guests had to simply book their car in to be serviced at a Toyota Service Centre, such as CMI Toyota, in the months of January and February earlier this year. 

We were thrilled to have a CMI Toyota guest win this amazing prize after completing her service earlier this year at our Adelaide dealership!

CMI Toyota’s General Manager, Drew, and Salesperson, Jake, were joined by Ryan, Toyota Australia’s Senior Dealer Marketing and Loyalty Manager Central Region, to present our prizewinner, Betty with her incredible Yaris Cross Urban Hybrid in Ink at our Adelaide dealership.

Betty was joined by her partner Jackson at the prize handover, and it was a delight to see their faces when Betty’s new top-of-the-line Yaris Cross Urban Hybrid was revealed. 

The Yaris Cross Urban is an incredible small SUV, fitted with a head-up display, heated front seats, kick sensor boot and 18” alloy wheels. Betty was also presented with another generous gift from Ryan of Toyota Australia, a signed AFLW Adelaide Crows guernsey, which Betty greatly appreciated as a proud Crows supporter. 

In a beautiful twist, we learnt that Betty is a driving instructor and purchased her previous vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, a few years ago from the CMI Toyota team. She will indeed make great use of this wonderful new car, while her students and their families will surely appreciate the safety and reliability of the Toyota Safety Package in the Yaris Cross Urban. 

One of the best features for Betty as a driving instructor is the economical Hybrid powertrain, “I go through three tanks a week, so it’s going to save lots on fuel”. 

Best of all, there is no need to plug in a Toyota Hybrid, the battery charges while you are driving during deceleration and braking. The electric motor is used in conjunction with the petrol motor, getting you further for less. 
 

We are so happy for Betty and her partner Jackson on winning this life-changing prize, and we cannot wait to see this stunning vehicle on the road!
