CMI Toyota Celebrates 60 Years

On Saturday, October 21, we cleared the cars out of our West Terrace showroom for one night only, transforming the space to celebrate CMI Toyota’s 60th year as a proud Toyota dealer.

Our valued team members from across all CMI Toyota locations were invited to celebrate this special milestone with us and what a fantastic night it was! 

Guests arrived to find historical vehicles on display in the service driveway, before entering the dealership, which had been transformed for the night. Inside, more current and historical Toyota vehicles were proudly on display, a photobooth was available for staff to use throughout the night, plus much more!

With almost 300 people in attendance, including members of the CMV Group Board as well as representatives from Toyota Australia, our guests enjoyed delicious burgers and chips from Gang Gang, scrumptious bar snacks from Indulgence Food Design, plus incredible gelato from Felicita Gelateria.

After hearing from CMI Toyota Senior General Manager Drew Ford, and CMV Group Managing Director Paul Crawford, who reflected on the history of CMI Toyota, guests heard from Toyota Regional Manager Joe Mullen. Joe spoke on the longstanding relationship between CMI and Toyota over the past 60 years and thanked everyone for their support of the brand. 

Guests were then treated to a special video package, which highlighted the long history of CMI Toyota, including some of our classic TV ads from days gone by. These received a lot of laughs as many featured some of our staff who still work with us today!

To cap off the night, DJs Bangaz and Ash entertained our guests with some fantastic tunes and remixes, ensuring our guests kicked their heels up on the dance floor.
