CMI Toyota Apprentice Awards Evening 2025
In mid May, we were thrilled to celebrate a huge cohort of apprentices at our most successful Apprentice Awards Evening yet!
Our Apprenticeship Program has provided expert training and guidance to those seeking a career as an automotive technician for over 20 years, and we’re proud to be able to offer our apprentices a diverse and exciting career in an environment that fosters teamwork, creativity and innovation.
This annual event is an opportunity for us to welcome our new apprentices as they start their careers in the automotive industry, celebrate our current apprentices as they each reach a new milestone within the program, and congratulate our graduating apprentices.
Watch the video with all the highlights from the night below.
Hosted at our West Terrace dealership, apprentices and their special guests, as well as management, apprentice mentors and our education partners, joined us for this special event. It was the perfect opportunity for apprentices from each of our dealerships to mingle with one another, as well as with those in the industry.
The evening kicked off with guests enjoying beverages, wood oven pizza and delicious food from Orlando Catering.
CMV Group Joint Managing Director, Daniel Crawford, was first to take to the stage to thank everyone for coming and commend the apprentices who have graduated from their apprenticeship, successfully completed their year or started their career in the automotive industry.
Following Daniel’s welcome, CMI Toyota Training Centre Manager, Darren Quinn, took the stage to recognise our Apprentice Mentors, who’s years of experience in the industry and dedication to the Apprenticeship Program is invaluable to our apprentices.

Led by our Training and Development Manager, Darren Quinn, the program is designed to develop the next generation of highly skilled automotive technicians. We’re committed to providing our apprentices with the tools, support and opportunities they need to thrive — both now and into the future.
