For over a decade, CMI Toyota have been proudly supporting the City-Bay Fun Run as a major sponsor and we have loved seeing the South Australian community running or walking in either the 3km, 6km, 12km and more recently, the half marathon, each year!
CMI Toyota and the wider CMV Group (our parent company), have enjoyed seeing many our staff members join the ‘CMI Toyota City-Bay team’ each year and it’s always fantastic to see each and every one of our team members at the end of the race at the CMI Toyota tent, refuelling with a delicious BBQ and debriefing about how they went.
Despite the City-Bay being cancelled for the second year running due to COVID restrictions, we were still proud to be a part of this iconic event and for the 11th year in a row, we offered one lucky person the chance to win a brand-new Toyota Yaris just by registering before October 4. Our General Sales Manager, Greg, was very excited to be able to announce this year’s lucky winner live on the FIVEAA breakfast show. Congratulations to this year’s early bird prize winner - Ashleigh!

Recently, Greg was able to handover the keys to Ashleigh at our Adelaide showroom, and we were lucky enough to have Channel 10 onsite at to capture the moment Ashleigh received the keys to her new car.
With any luck, the City-Bay can go ahead in 2022, giving participants the chance to come together at this wonderful event and compete again! We look forward to continuing our support of this iconic South Australian race in the future.
The City-Bay Fun Run Committee runs this iconic event to raise funds to assist athletics clubs within the South Australian community, including purchasing new equipment as well as sponsoring local Athletes for their Olympic endeavours.
